This is an idea that until a few years ago was unthinkable. Being able to enjoy all your favorite retro consoles and arcade games on your TV or CRT monitor with Pixel Perfect resolution, using a mini computer that takes up very little space, at a more than competitive price. This is a project that is more alive than ever, backed by a very strong community that continuously releases updates.

For true retro gamers, nothing compares to the experience of playing with original hardware. That is why Arcade Express wanted to bring this very interesting product and offer it to all of you, devoted retro gaming fans. The Pi2SCART PCB simulates the video output of retro game consoles with unprecedented accuracy.

Unfortunately, connecting and playing a Raspberry Pi on a TFT / LCD TV has several drawbacks. Some of them include terrible scaling, where pixels look huge, poor color fidelity, LAG in controls and image, and incorrect game speeds, just to name a few.

With the Pi2SCART board you can connect your Raspberry Pi 3 / 3B+ / 4 to a CRT TV or Monitor and forget about all of this, achieving an image faithful to the original consoles and in some cases even improving it. This is the case for consoles such as the Nintendo NES and Nintendo 64, which did not originally support RGB, and which you can now enjoy thanks to the Pi2SCART board.

This board offers direct SCART support with the Raspberry Pi, outputting video at 15Khz with PIXEL PERFECT resolutions and a 4:3 aspect ratio. In addition, the board combines horizontal and vertical SYNC with an integrated Logic ICs chip, delivering a very clean image.

Installing the Pi2SCART board is very simple. Just connect it to the GPIO of your Raspberry Pi and download a Linux distribution compatible with Pi2SCART that outputs video at 15Khz. At the end of this listing you will find links to all compatible distributions.

The Pi2SCART board includes a built in stereo audio amplifier. To output sound, simply connect the included audio cable to the minijack connector on the Pi2SCART, and then to the speakers or sound system of your choice.

The Pi2SCART board does not require any additional power supply.
