The SCART connector, also known as Euroconnector, is a type of connector widely used in Europe to connect audio and video devices to televisions and other equipment. It is a 21-pin rectangular connector that can transmit composite video signals, stereo audio and other analog video formats . Likewise, this adapter is compatible with Arcade machines that have up to 6 buttons per player, allowing you to enjoy a wide variety of games that make use of multiple buttons for a complete gaming experience.

Imagine you have an Arcade machine with its original analog monitor, and unfortunately, it breaks down. Replacing it with a flat monitor would be a shame, as you would lose the RGB video quality offered by the JAMMA systems of the original arcades. And looking for another monitor of the same model that these Arcade machines had is somewhat a difficult task, since it is very very difficult to find them in the second hand market. That's why the only solution we would have would be to put an old CRT TV, since these TV's are also capable of managing RGB video signals, like the original Arcade monitors. To be able to do this, we need a special cable (HERE you have the link of the mentioned cable), which we would have to splice it to the original JAMMA cable, this can be a quite tedious task. Moreover, this cable needs to be powered with 5v through its USB connector. Thanks to our JAMMA-SCART adapter, we'll achieve the same results making a direct connection from the JAMMA connector of your Arcade to the SCART of your CRT TV.

Just connect the Jamma cable of your Arcade machine to the connectors of the adapter and connect the SCART connector of the adapter to the SCART connector on your TV using this SCART cable. Finally, turn on your Arcade machine and select the corresponding input on the TV. This selection or input on the AV channel of your new CRT TV is usually done automatically by the adapter itself, although this will also depend on the TV, which must be compatible with this function.

This adapter also allows automatic adjustments to the RGB color settings to ensure accurate color reproduction on the TV screen. This is especially useful for obtaining an optimal image and adapting it to the characteristics of the TV used.

WARNING! 

• This adapter does not transmit audio through its output SCART connector. This means that with this adapter we will not be able to output sound through the TV speakers via its SCART connector. 
• On some TVs the picture may be too bright. In this case, to attenuate the image, it would be necessary to make the following modification in the R / G / B channels of the adapter:
