One of the coolest features of this VGA Scanline Generator is that it works via hardware and not via software, so it does not create any type of LAG and it doesn't affect the PC from which the emulator is running in terms of memory and CPU. 

The VGA Scanline Generator allows us to choose between different configurations thanks to a simple switch. You can, for example, choose the intensity of the scanlines, choose if you want them odd or even, as well as choosing their width. You can also choose between 2 different resolutions: Resolutions in 640*480/60Hz or 1024*768/60Hz or choose if you want V-Sync function reverted in case you are using a different resolution.

The VGA Scanlines Generator is definitely a great complement both to play on your computer with different emulators or to be used in a Bartop with a TFT monitor to give a more retro feel to the video image of your project.

The four switches in the board are:

ON/OFF: Turns the scanlines effect ON/OFF

EVEN/ODD: Tells the board to draw only ODD or EVEN scanlines

WIDTH: Tells the board to draw double (thicker) or single scanlines

VSYNC: Inverts VSYNC signal. Need to change it when you're using a VGA resolution different than 640x480@60Hz or 1024x768@60Hz, otherwise scanlines won't work.
