Crown CWL-309MJ-BENYLIS-ST35 Arcade Joystick

The Korean arcade joystick Samducksa Crown CWL-309MJ-BENYLIS-ST35 was developed in collaboration between Korean Tekken player Kim Byung-moon, known as "Benylis", and the joystick manufacturer Samducksa Crown. This model is based on the CWL-309MJ platform and uses Starion SZM-V16-2FA-83 microswitches.

The collaboration between Benylis and Samducksa focused on creating a precise and responsive joystick, especially aimed at players of Tekken and other fighting games. Its configuration is designed to provide fast and accurate response, making it easier to perform technical movements and quick directional changes.

The CWL-309MJ-BENYLIS-ST35 joystick uses an ST35 silicone tension grommet and an actuator configuration designed to make diagonals easier and provide precise control during gameplay.

One of the main features of the CWL-309MJ-BENYLIS-ST35 is the use of Starion SZM-V16-2FA-83 microswitches, which differ from those commonly used in other Samducksa Crown models. These microswitches require minimal movement for activation, providing a fast, precise and direct response.

This model uses Starion SZM-V16-2FA-83 lever microswitches instead of other common models such as the Gersung GSM-V1623A2 or GSM-V1623A3. This configuration helps provide a fast and responsive actuation feel, especially suitable for fighting games.

Samducksa Crown joysticks use a high-density silicone rubber ring to allow the lever to return quickly to the center. This system is especially designed for 3D fighting games and is very popular among Tekken players.

This version uses an ST35 tension grommet with Shore A 35 hardness, providing balanced tension and a fast return to the neutral position. The advantage of this silicone rubber tension system is its quick return to center, especially useful in games that require fast, consistent and precise movements.

Compatible shafts

This base is supplied without shaft, allowing you to choose separately the shaft that best suits the configuration or aesthetics of your arcade joystick.

• Replacement Shaft for Crown CWL Series Joystick - Compatible with Crown joystick series 309, 307 and 303.
• Translucent Replacement Shaft for Crown CWL-DX Series - To use this DX shaft with this base, it is also necessary to install the Crown CWL-DX 309-DX Bobbin.

Note: The translucent CWL-DX shafts require the installation of the corresponding Crown CWL-DX bobbin in order to be used with this base.

CAUTION:

This joystick is NOT compatible with the Sanwa JLF mounting plate.

This version was developed in collaboration with Korean Tekken player Benylis.

The Crown CWL-309MJ-BENYLIS-ST35 joystick uses four Starion SZM-V16-2FA-83 (4.8 mm) microswitches.

This version is supplied as a joystick base without shaft / lever or bat top.

The microswitches may arrive slightly bent due to packaging and transport.

The Faston terminals may show slight differences in color.

To install a compatible shaft, insert it firmly following the installation procedure corresponding to the selected shaft model.
