The SEGA Mega Drive 2 / Genesis 2 features a 9-pin Mini DIN output on the rear from which a true RGB video signal can be extracted. With this RGB SCART cable you will get the most out of your console, achieving a sharp, vivid and interference-free image, far superior to the original video cable.

The Express Pro is the ultimate SCART cable for Mega Drive 2, entirely designed and manufactured by Arcade Express. It is built with a double-shielded cable that eliminates crosstalk between channels and external interference, guaranteeing maximum purity of image and sound. It incorporates AC coupling capacitors on the RGBS lines and the necessary resistors to achieve the standard 700mVpp signal level.

The cable supplies a CSYNC (composite sync) signal, correctly attenuated using a 470 ohm resistor on the sync line for 75 ohm operation. This guarantees the best possible picture and can reduce the vertical stripe effect (jail bars) present on some units.

An ideal cable to connect your Mega Drive 2 to a CRT TV with SCART input and enjoy the iconic colour palette of the console, or to use it with any modern RGB-compatible upscaling solution. Fully plug and play: no tuning or additional setup required.
