This is a new version of the famous and pioneering ball-type magnetic joystick by Industrias Lorenzo, also known as the Mag-Stick. With the same base and microswitches as its bat-top version, this Mag-Stick sets itself apart through its shaft, which is fully removable.

This joystick is especially suited for "suitcase"-style sticks, where a hinged lid closes over the panel so it can be transported safely and quickly. These types of panels require a removable joystick so the panel can be closed without having to disassemble anything at all, which makes this joystick a perfect fit.

Thanks to its quick-release shaft, this allows you to quickly detach the joystick from its base without needing any tools. This release shaft generally consists of two main parts, connected via a coupling or engagement mechanism that can be released quickly and easily.
