Game Blue ELF 412 in 1 Vertical Multigames Jamma Board

You are looking at one of the Multigame boards with most games designed for vertically oriented monitors: 412 classic games specifically designed for Vertical monitors and Cocktail Arcade Cabinets.

The GAME ELF 412 in 1 Vertical Arcade Board supports both TFT/LCD/CRT monitors with VGA input and original Arcade CGA monitors with 15Khz video. Plus, it has a maximum VGA resolution of 800x600 so you can enjoy games in SVGA quality.

As for the installation of the board, it is quite simple. If you want to use it on an Arcade Cabinet, simply plug it into the JAMMA connector and voilà, you're done! If you want to use the board on a VGA monitor, you will have to connect a VGA cable that goes from the Multigame board to the monitor and power the board with a computer ATX power supply (with 300W you would have enough) through its MOLEX connector or a MOLEX Power Supply as the one we sell in this LINK.

Once the Jamma Multigames PCB is connected, you will see a very intuitive Game Selection Menu with a list of 412 Vertical Arcade games. These games are fully configurable one by one. You can modify the Difficulty Level, Speed, Number of Lives, etc. You can also configure the games that shall appear in the Main Menu and remove and add the games you want. If you wish to do so, you can choose to have users pay to play, or simply activate Free Play Mode, where games will be completely free.

A very interesting feature of this latest revision of the GAME ELF 412 in 1 is that you can connect a Trackball to be able to play excellent classics such as Centipede, Millipede, Arkanoid, Eight Ball Action, etc, which originally had this type of “mouse” installed in the Control Panels of the Arcade Cabients of the 1980s.

To get audio from the 412 in 1 PCB you have 2 options: Via the Jamma wiring directly or by connecting a cable to the Minijack connector of the PCB and to the speakers. The sound volume is regulated by a knob you will find on the board.

Technical Notes

This Multigame board uses a slightly different JAMMA pinout. Please check the following table before making the purchase: 

Some JAMMA cables have 27 and 28 pins grounded. For the 412 in 1 Vertical Multigame board to work properly, you will need to remove them on both sides. The pins of this Board uses those pins for action button 6.

In case you do not want to desolder cables, please note that the JAMMA wiring available at Arcade Express is fully compatible with this board. You can purchase the JAMMA wiring through this LINK.

DO NOT connect the -5 volt cable to the power supply. This board does not use -5 volts and it will not run if you connect -5V!!
