The Sony PlayStation 2 and 3 consoles feature an AV Multi output on the rear from which a true RGB video signal can be extracted. With this RGB SCART cable you will get the most out of your console, achieving a sharp, vivid and interference-free image, far superior to the original video cable.

The Express Pro is the ultimate SCART cable for PlayStation 2 and 3, entirely designed and manufactured by Arcade Express. It is built with a double-shielded cable that eliminates crosstalk between channels and external interference, guaranteeing maximum purity of image and sound.

Unlike the PS1 cable, this cable does not include coupling capacitors, as the PlayStation 2 and 3 already have them integrated inside the console between the video encoder and the AV output. Adding capacitors in the cable would degrade the signal, so this cable is specifically designed for the PS2 / PS3 to ensure maximum electrical compatibility with the console.

The cable is wired for Sync on Luma, the native sync type of the PlayStation 2 and PlayStation 3. The SCART connector features a PCB designed and manufactured by Arcade Express with all ground pins correctly connected to earth for a completely clean signal.

Before using the cable, make sure your console is set to output RGB video. To do so, remove the disc, go to System Configuration > Component Video Output and select RGB instead of Y Cb/Pb Cr/Pr.

This cable is not compatible with PlayStation 1.
